Jane Enkin

Jane Enkin is a storyteller, singer, and songwriter, with an interest in Ashkenazi, Sephardi, Mizrahi and Hasidic traditions. Her past workshops have included Jewish Women’s Folk Religion and Creative Midrash. Jane’s storytelling, singing and poetry have enhanced events at Shaarey Zedek, Temple Shalom, Chevra Mishnayes, the Gwen Secter Centre, the Simkin Centre, and the Rady JCC. Jane’s recordings include  Lider Fun Amol – Yiddish Songs We Love to Sing, and Tango Yona – Yiddish to the Heart. At Limmud Winnipeg, Jane has presented a storytelling workshop “Where are the women?, a hands-on workshop making Soul Candles, and a concert of World Jewish Music.
