Rabbi Zev J. Brenner serves as President & Executive Producer of Talkline Network, America’s leading Jewish radio and television network, which he formed in 1981. From his home base in New York, Rabbi Brenner syndicates Talkline With Zev Brenner, the network’s flagship radio and television program. His other duties include working with advertisers in targeting Jewish and ethnic consumers as well as assisting budding broadcasters start their own radio and TV programs. He helped launch Spanish TV network LTV and Russian Radio Channel New Life Broadcasting. Talkline airs on WOR 710 AM and WSNR 620 AM in the metro New York area as well as on WVIP 93.5 FM HD2, the nation's only full time Jewish radio station. The shows air on the internet and all major podcast platforms including YouTube. His television shows air on SPECTRUM METRO NY, ALTICE METRO NY ( formerly CABLEVISION) DIRECT TV, and nationwide on JBS. Zev Brenner has interviewed some of the leading newsmakers in the Jewish and political world. Among his guests: President Bill Clinton; Hillary Clinton, Senator Ted Cruz, Former CIA Director James Woolsey, Israeli Prime Ministers Benjamin Netanyahu, Shimon Peres, Yitzhak Shamir and the late Yitzhak Rabin; former Vice President Dan Quayle; former Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev, New York Mayor Bill De Blasio, Richard Gere, Ed Asner, Don King, Jackie Mason and the Reverend Al Sharpton. Mr. Brenner has worked tirelessly to improve ties between ethnic groups and is an outspoken advocate of Black-Jewish relations; leaders of the Black Community are often featured on his programs. For his efforts on behalf of the Jewish Community, Mr. Brenner has received numerous awards including the Journalism/Jewish Heritage Award from the Kings County District Attorney; the Hasbarah award from the Jewish Teachers Association; the Humanitarian Award from the International League for the Repatriation of Russian Jews; and the Communications Award from the National Council of Young Israel. The City Council of NY has also honored him for his work.
