Ruth Ashrafi

Ruth Ashrafi studied Semitic languages and graduated with a master’s degree in Talmud, followed by a doctor’s degree in Midrash and Medieval Hebrew literature. Originally from the Netherlands, she also studied at University College London, the Hebrew University, and Harvard, and was a member of the Jerusalem Fellows Program. Together with her family, she moved to  Winnipeg. For fifteen years, she was the Director of Judaic Studies at Gray Academy. At present, she is the Regional Director for B’nai Brith.
